Current rates are $75 per hour billed by the 1/2 hour.
(If the work is done at a yard, then there may be a sub-contractor fee to negotiate with the yard)
All work is done strictly on a time and materials basis. I will always get the job done as quickly as I can.
If the job is of short duration, or a long way, mileage may be charged at the standard prevailing IRS rate.
Every vessel has its unique challenges. I do my best to communicate an expected job time line, and regular updates on progress help to limit unacceptable cost overages.
I expect costly purchases to be covered by a deposit at the time of order. I can generally leverage better pricing through my preferred wholesalers, when compared to retail.
