Ideal 18 sailing out of Rochester, NY.

This Spring (1999) my neighbour Dave Murphy invided me to crew for him on his ideal 18 one design. There is a substantial little fleet sailing out of the Genesse river, Rochester, NY. Most are found at the Rochester Yacht Club or Shumway Marine.

These little keel boats are drysailed off the trailer, although a few R.Y. club-boats remain in the water.

Here are list of photo pages showing the sort of sailing we get up too.

And then tacking away from the dock, though the marina and out into the Gennesee River.
